I've been away from the android scene for a few years and have recently been given the above device (Galaxy Tab A 8.0).
I prefer a vanilla android for my devices if possible, without the bloat, and was wondering if anyone has created one? If so, where do I find it?
If not, are there any resources that can help get me started?
I am assuming I would use the AOSP as the base.
Am I able to reuse the current kernel? 


Anyway, any help would be appreciated.
