After enjoying the stock ROM unrooted for a couple of weeks, curiosity for the better of me and I tried to root the tablet a couple of times. Tried using Odin and was able to download TWRP with no problem thanks to our forum administrator. I was also able to get Odin to download via cf auto root / chain fire. tar method. Thus is the same method I used to successfully root my tablet earlier when it had the android 5 Lollipop system.
However, I unfortunately got stuck in boot loops. I also tried flashing via TWRP with an external USB flash drive. That didn't work.
I haven't tried flashing the supersu 2.65 via TWRP with the supersu zip placed properly within the internal storage of the tablet itself.
Guess I should try that next...
However, is the problem that I am having due to a locked boot loader?
Has anyone else had success routing the stock Marshmallow 6.01? And if so, how did you do it?
